Policies, Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Ulu Beauty!

 

Before you book and arrive, please read and acknowledge the following policies we have in place for everyone’s safety and comfort:

  

  • Please do not bring anyone else to your appointment with you. Ulu is a small home-based treatment room and we don’t have space for extra guests!

  • Don’t bring your children or pets with you to your appointment please. We work with chemicals and sharp objects and the salon isn’t a child-safe or pet-safe space. We won’t be able to begin your treatment if it’s not safe to do so.

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you’re early, please wait at the front gate until your appointment time. There may be other customers in before you and we won't be able to start your appointment early.

  • If you’re more than 5 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to carry out your treatment and you will still be charged the full appointment fee.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 48 hours’ notice. If you miss your appointment, you’ll still be charged. We understand that emergencies happen and will reschedule your appointment at our discretion.

  • We ask that you pay for your main treatment in advance to minimise missed appointments and no-shows which seriously impact our small business. If you have chosen extras such as nail art or hydrotherapy sessions, these will be payable on the day by card or cash.

  • We want you to leave Ulu happy! If you’re not completely satisfied with your treatment, please let us know before you leave the salon so we can put it right.

  • For your comfort and safety, please tell us when you book if you have allergies, conditions, disabilities, or if you’re pregnant. If you experience discomfort or any other symptoms during your treatment, please tell us immediately.

  • We don't recommend you book on someone else's behalf, as we require personal details including important medical and allergy information. Please direct them to our booking page to book their own appointment instead... Or gift vouchers are available if you'd prefer to surprise them!

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated or if their state of health may influence the effects of the treatment. If we are unable to continue your treatment for these reasons, you will not be entitled to a refund and we cannot guarantee a reschedule.

  • Please ensure your nails and skin are in a suitable condition for your treatment. If we are unable to carry out your treatment because of a contraindication such as a fungal infection, the cost of your appointment will not be refundable. We will try our very best to continue with a suitable alternative treatment for you if this is the case.

  • Please read the treatment descriptions carefully before you book and double check your choice before you pay. Refunds or credit will not be given if you book the wrong treatment or change your mind on the day.

  • Please park considerately on the drive or the street. You’re responsible for your vehicle and your belongings while you’re here.
